Registration is required for online voting. Voting is FREE.
Online entries will be limited to one entry per registered user per day. Paper ballots are unlimited; however, photocopies of the printed ballot will not be accepted. Ballots must be 50% completed ( 49 out of the 99 categories will need to contain an answer in order to be counted).
Deadline to submit your vote is Midnight on March 30, 2014.
The winner for each category will be the one business with the highest number of votes from both valid online and paper ballots counted. In the event of a tie, the winner of the category will be chosen at random. If there is any evidence of tampering with registration or any electronic manipulation on contest outcome, a winner may be chosen at random by the Bladen Journal contest officials.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed.
Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Employees of Bladen Journal, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
The Bladen Journal reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on registrants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

All results posted are unofficial until the winners are announced in the May 6, 2014 Readers' Choice Section featured in the Bladen Journal print edition.
